A safe space to get real about parenting.
Parenting is messy, beautiful, and sometimes overwhelming. You don’t need another list of “shoulds” or well-meaning advice that doesn’t fit your family, you need a space to be honest about what’s hard, what’s working, and where you’re stuck. Coaching with Parenting-ish is that space: judgment-free, rooted in experience, and focused on you.
Whether you’re a parent seeking clarity or a teen stepping into independence, coaching with Parenting-ish is about finding your footing, your voice, and your next step, with support that meets you where you are.
Every season of parenting asks something new of you. Some days it’s patience you didn’t know you had; other days it’s finding energy when you feel completely drained. Whether you’re caring for a newborn, navigating toddler chaos, supporting school-aged kids, or guiding teens into independence, you don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
This coaching gives you a judgment-free space to get real about parenting, the messy and the meaningful.
Together, we’ll tackle what’s weighing on you right now, like:
Setting boundaries that actually stick
Easing screen-time battles
Cutting through daily stress before it piles up
Building communication that strengthens connection
Quieting the nagging parent guilt
Each session is designed to lighten your load. You’ll walk away with clear strategies, more confidence in your parenting choices, and practical tools that work for your family, not a one-size-fits-all formula.
I bring both professional training and lived experience as a parent. That means you get a guide who knows what it’s like to be stretched thin, plus perspective to spot patterns and strategies that fit your season of parenting.
Unlike venting to your partner or relatives, this is a space that’s completely yours. A place to step back from the noise, find clarity, and leave with a lighter load.
Sessions are available as single bookings or bundled packages.
Parent Coaching:
Every Age, Every Stage
Teen Coaching:
Future Prep
High school comes with a million questions—“What’s next?” being the biggest one. Between family, teachers, and friends, teens can feel pulled in every direction. They don’t have to figure it out alone.
Future Prep coaching gives teens a supportive, low-pressure space to explore options, discover what matters to them, and take practical steps toward the future, whether that’s university, college, trades, or a first career.
What we focus on together:
Exploring career and school options without pressure
Spotting strengths, interests, and motivators
Untangling “what I want” vs. “what others expect”
Building independence skills (time management, communication, self-advocacy)
Turning big goals into clear, step-by-step plans
This isn’t about choosing one “right” path. It’s about giving teens clarity, confidence, and tools to make choices that fit them. Each session blends self-discovery with practical planning, so they leave with a stronger sense of direction and an action plan they feel good about.
When to start: You don’t have to wait until Grade 12 to get serious about the future. Coaching helps at every stage, from “I have no idea where to start” to “applications are due now.”
Designed for tweens, teens, and young adults, Future Prep meets them where they are and helps them move forward with confidence. Because figuring out the future should feel exciting—not overwhelming.
How it works
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Coaching sessions give you a sidekick in the messy middle, not a judge, not a “perfect parent” script. These are not counselling sessions. The focus is on moving forward, creating action plans, and finding strategies that fit your family’s own philosophy.
