Who I am
Hi, I’m Jeanette Sinclair, and the Parenting-ish community comes straight from the real trenches of parenting. I’ve been at this for 21 years, raising a red-headed fireball while juggling all the big feelings, morning chaos, and endless stages that never seem to stay the same for long. Along the way, I also studied early childhood education, became a certified coach, worked as a nanny, and even served as president of the elementary school PAC. But most of all, I’ve been a parent, figuring it out day by day, just like you.
Parenting-ish was born from that mix of experience and real life: the messy mornings, the tween eye rolls, the late-night “am I doing this right?” moments. My goal isn’t to hand you a perfect formula; it’s to share practical, judgment-free tools that help you feel less alone, more connected, and a little more confident in the stage you’re in. Because the truth is, there’s no one manual for parenting. But with the right support, we can write our own.
For more everyday encouragement and connection, come join the Parenting-ish Facebook page, a space to share, ask questions, and connect with other parents.
And if you’re looking for quick tips, honest insights, and a little motivation, follow along on Instagram. Together, we can keep this parenting thing real.
Let’s Connect
Parenting isn’t meant to be a solo journey, and neither is this space. If you’ve got a question, a story to share, or just want to reach out, I’d love to hear from you.
